Piloting in Summer 2023! A new, two-week introduction to landscape architecture and architecture program in Maine!

BSLA and PSA (the Portland Society for Architecture), AIA Maine, and the University of Southern Maine are piloting a summer intensive in Spatial Design July 17 - 28, 2023. This two week summer intensive will introduce students to fundamentals of design of the built environment. Look + Learn + Draw Place. Learn to see the world differently!

Open to all ages - from rising juniors + seniors in high school to currently enrolled college + university students, to life-long learners. Three college credits. There are tuition waivers for Maine public high school students (and homeschooled) in the graduating class of ‘24, ‘25, and ‘26! And for life-long learners 65+ too.

Projects are site-specific. Guest faculty are local practitioners. Scroll down to learn more about these architects and landscape architects….
