The Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund
The jury felt this was an excellent project that makes you aware of the surrounding habitat. The integration of architecture and landscape is superb, along with the collaboration with local knowledge. Everything is related and layered together beautifully, the curving paths creating areas for planting. It has a strong mission and shows significant commitment of the people and a great educational component.
