Norton, PhD candidate in the Harvard University History of Art and Architecture Department, to learn how landscape and its visual representations were conceptualized and explored in pre-modern East Asian art. Through close examination of objects currently on display in the Harvard Art Museums, this gallery talk introduces important moments in the history of the Chinese and Japanese landscape traditions as they evolved across time and cultures.
