What does it mean to design for resilience in an age of uncertainty?
Join us for an energizing evening with four multidisciplinary teams behind The Resilient Campus, an international design competition organized by the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning. Teams used UB's South Campus as a testing ground for new approaches to resilience—generating ideas that ranged from biogenic materials and circular economies to afforestation, adaptive reuse, new energy systems, and scenario-based thinking.
Hear from designers at LTL Architects, Nelson Byrd Woltz, Stoss Landscape Urbanism, Höweler + Yoon, MASS, and MVRDV, followed by a conversation about the future of practice.
Organized by BSA, in collaboration with BSLA and UB School of Architecture & Planning.
