Senior Associate

We are seeking a passionate and talented Senior Associate with 7-10+ years of experience in construction documentation and administration to join our Boston-based team. This role offers the opportunity not only to design meaningful public and educational spaces but also to help shape the vision and direction of a studio in transformation.

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional who thrives in working on multiple projects and has expertise in design, construction documentation, and construction administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects through all phases of design and construction.

  • Develop construction documents and specifications for projects.

  • Conduct on-site and in-office construction administration, including site visits, submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, sub-consultants, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Present concepts to clients, review boards, and community groups.

  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • BLA or MLA from an accredited program.

  • 7–10+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture.

  • Deep knowledge of construction detailing and construction administration.

  • Proven experience leading, organizing, and managing projects from start to finish.

  • Strong design sensibility and the ability to communicate ideas clearly through sketches, presentations, and technical drawings.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office (Additions: Rhino, Lumion).

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
