We are seeking a passionate and talented Senior Associate with 7-10+ years of experience in construction documentation and administration to join our Boston-based team. This role offers the opportunity not only to design meaningful public and educational spaces but also to help shape the vision and direction of a studio in transformation.
The ideal candidate is an experienced professional who thrives in working on multiple projects and has expertise in design, construction documentation, and construction administration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage projects through all phases of design and construction.
Develop construction documents and specifications for projects.
Conduct on-site and in-office construction administration, including site visits, submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
Coordinate with internal teams, sub-consultants, clients, and stakeholders.
Present concepts to clients, review boards, and community groups.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Qualifications
BLA or MLA from an accredited program.
7–10+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
Deep knowledge of construction detailing and construction administration.
Proven experience leading, organizing, and managing projects from start to finish.
Strong design sensibility and the ability to communicate ideas clearly through sketches, presentations, and technical drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office (Additions: Rhino, Lumion).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
