Landscape Architect: Entry-Level + Mid/Senior Level
Agency (agencylp.com) is actively hiring! We are interested in new team members with a passion for planning and design in the public realm. We strive for diversity in every aspect of work and we encourage persons from all backgrounds to apply.
We work hard. We have fun. We are kind to each other and passionate about the work.
Agency is a mission-driven practice dedicated to addressing social equity, cultural vitality and environmental resilience through design excellence, strategic planning and community engagement. We believe that – in order to address the most challenging issues of our contemporary society – diversity and inclusion are foundational to how we see, understand and, ultimately, shape our collective experience, particularly in the public spaces, parks and streets of our cities. We seek landscape and planning opportunities that allow us to partner meaningfully with constituents, that welcome many voices and hands in the process, and that produce outcomes that are deeply connected to the richness and uniqueness of place.
Place Maker: Landscape Architect – Entry-Level (Cambridge, MA)
Agency is actively seeking a landscape architect or landscape designer in our Cambridge office with strong design and graphic skills alongside a passion for the public realm. We are looking for applicants who are organized and detail-oriented, love to sketch ideas, iterate design alternatives, and enjoy working in teams. Within an interdisciplinary firm working across scales, the entry-level landscape architect/designer role includes planning level collaboration as well as coordination with a wide variety of technical subconsultants. The ideal candidate brings at least a strong interest in learning the craft of site built work, including developing construction documents and participating in construction administration – demonstrated experience with site construction documentation is a welcome bonus! The position requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino – while most of our design and documentation efforts use these core programs, experience with Revit or 3D modeling software beyond Rhino could be beneficial.
The role will require a commitment to consistent collaboration and communication within our team and our design partners as well as the desire to proactively engage mentors, dig deeply into material and technical research, and problem solve. We strive for diversity in every aspect of work and we encourage persons from all backgrounds to apply.
This position will work out of the Cambridge, MA office, although there is flexibility relating to relocation timing. See full details at agencylp.com/contact
Please submit an application, including a letter of interest, current resume, work samples (no bigger than 20 megabytes), and names/contact info for at least two references through the Job Application form, here: https://forms.gle/vubBKPT3EjhZagiR9
