Kyle Zick Landscape Architecture, Inc. (KZLA) is an eight-person landscape architecture studio with a small-firm feel and a big-picture mindset. We are committed to thoughtful design and highly personalized service, working across a wide range of project types including public parks, conservation lands and trails, academic campuses, corporate environments, tactical urbanism, and historic landscapes. Our clients span municipalities, museums, colleges and universities, the National Park Service, private developers, and a network of trusted collaborators.

Landscape Architect
KZLA is seeking a Landscape Architect with 2-5 years’ experience with strong design skills, creativity, and organizational capabilities to join our tight-knit team.
Qualifications:
Skilled in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Office (Word, Excel), and Sketchup.
Experience is ArcGIS is also beneficial.
The ideal candidate will be involved in every stage of our projects, from early ideas to final execution. You’ll help with proposals, concept design, site analysis, graphics, and construction documents. We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting their hands dirty in the design process, likes working closely with others, and brings curiosity and enthusiasm to the team. A good sense of humor is a plus—we take our work seriously, but not ourselves.
Education: BLA or MLA
Full-time position with paid vacation, holidays, health insurance, FSA, 401k with 3% annual company match, continuing education, and performance bonuses.
Landscape Architect Project Manager
KZLA is seeking a landscape architect project manager with 8-12 years’ experience with strong management, design skills, creativity, and organizational capabilities to join our tight-knit team.
Qualifications:
Proven track record managing projects as both prime consultant and subconsultant
Strong design-driven mindset with an emphasis on creative problem solving
Ability to balance project management responsibilities with hands-on production
Confident public speaker with experience presenting to clients and stakeholders
Experience leading and mentoring landscape architects, with a focus on professional development
Marketing experience, including proposal development and client-facing materials
Demonstrated experience with construction administration
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and AutoCAD
Education: BLA or MLA
