Landscape Designer / Architect

LEMON BROOKE, a landscape architecture firm in Concord MA practicing regionally and nationally, is looking for a friendly, creative and communicative human, with 1-5 years of professional office experience for a full-time position. With a portfolio of award-winning projects, our work is mostly in the public realm, and includes hipster workplace environments, housing, both the affordable and the unaffordable kind, independent schools, and cool museum and play environments that make kids want to get off the couch. Our work continually explores inclusive design because there is so much room for improvement out there. Landscape should be an equal opportunity experience. It should also be designed with thoughtfulness and ingenuity, which is why we will debate everything from how AI will change the design process, to whether a threaded rod and spacer is better than a diagonal screw.

Responsibilities include:

• Graphic development and refinement of conceptual design solutions.

• Preparation and coordination of design development and construction document packages.

• Research, evaluation and selection of materials and products.

• Preparation of marketing materials.

• Travel to job sites as necessary.

• Remaining open to new ideas, techniques, and working relationships.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture/Architecture

• Excellent conversational and written communication skills.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite and Firefly.

• Familiarity with Vectorworks is appreciated but not necessary.
