Offshoots, Inc. is seeking an experienced Associate Landscape Architect / Project Manager to join our growing Boston office team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers and principals on all phases of design, from initial site analysis through construction documentation and administration. The ideal candidate is a motivated, collaborative professional with a passion for ecological design, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to lead people and projects. A strong documented experience in developing construction documents and performing construction administration will be essential for this role.
As an Associate Landscape Architect / Project Manager, you will take a leadership role within the firm, helping guide projects, clients, and team members while contributing to design excellence and practice growth.
Responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to:
Managing projects through all phases of design with an emphasis on construction documentation and administration
Reviewing Designs with Principals and collaborating with design team
Managing project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and fee proposals
Coordinating directly with clients, contractors, and consultants
Leading the development of construction detailing and AutoCAD drafting of projects ranging from residences to multifamily housing, public parks, and streetscapes
Mentoring colleagues and providing technical guidance on project work including design details/documentation standards, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and 3D Rendering
Conducting site visits, construction observations, developing field reports, and punch lists
Providing marketing support on proposals and RFP review
Flexibility to perform some shared administrative tasks (we are a small firm and all help out a bit around the office)

Qualifications:
Bachelors or masters degree in landscape architecture
Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Landscape Architecture
Demonstrated project management experience, including a strong track record of construction documentation and administration
Experience preparing construction documents in AutoCAD
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Massachusetts Licensure or progress toward licensure preferred
Plant knowledge and horticultural interest preferred but not required
