Job Responsibilities
Assist discipline leadership with the planning, design and permitting of landscape architecture, civil engineering, land development and planning projects;
Coordinate and work with staff to prepare site work cost estimates, zoning analyses and determine the feasibility of projects based on the analysis of collected data;
Write and review draft reports, including feasibility studies, proposals, and technical specifications;
Plan, schedule and develop task and project budgets. Prepare progress reports and draft change orders;
Perform and manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Monitor budgets, schedules, and project timelines. Minimize write-offs by keeping projects on budget;
Provide direct oversight and management of staff and senior staff for specific project assignments;
Coach, train and motivate staff;
Remain current on landscape architecture practices, guidelines, regulations, and best management practices and attend internal training to expand knowledge and skills; and
Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture;
6+ years prior related experience;
Landscape Architecture license in good standing;
Passion for design excellence and the challenges of creating inspiring places in urban environments;
Possess creative and exceptional technical skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, Illustrator and 3D Modeling;
Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment; and

Position Summary
The Restoration Designer (RD) produces documentation for land management programs and restoration projects. Principal Accountabilities

Lead Design team with Grant submissions, RFP/RFQ responses, and Sales design materials
Establish and maintain design department connections, processes, and workflows with Hanover satellite office

Attend local conservation commission or other regulatory meetings with potential of presenting
Keep all project files current and organized under WED filing system

We have a healthy mix of project types including municipal, mixed-use, multi-family, religious, retail, life science, and custom residential design. We manage a steady stream of projects, small to large, resulting in a never-boring atmosphere which requires you to be light on your feet and to switch gears quickly. Goals of the landscape studio include growing the office by building a portfolio of larger, landscape-focused projects, allowing the ideal candidate to grow professionally in tandem with our expansion, and to share in the rewards of the company’s success. We work closely with our civil engineer colleagues within the office, but also with outside teams of consultants.
Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct site observations and assessments, including, but not limited to, preparation of site photo inventories and confirmation of existing site features and conditions.
Assist with due diligence research for various projects, including review of local and state guidelines and regulations.
Assist with conceptual design through contract documentation.
Assist with CADD drafting and design, including the use of both Autodesk and Vectorworks Landmark software.
Assist with preparation of project presentation materials, including but not limited to colored plan and 3D renderings, and PowerPoint decks.
Attend client and design team meetings
Prepare for and attend public hearings, including Planning Boards, Zoning Boards of Appeals, Design Review Committees and Conservation Commissions.
Assist with construction administration tasks, including but not limited to performing on-site observation, reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and maintaining project construction administration logs.
Qualifications
Basic understanding of the following software platforms:
AutoCAD (required)
Sketchup (preferred)
Adobe Design Suite (preferred)
Vectorworks Landmark (preferred)
3D modeling software such as Rhino or Lumion (preferred)
Understanding of Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Ability to work in a team setting and on multiple ongoing projects in an organized fashion.
Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills (proficiency in English is a must).
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The Opportunity: We’re seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented Project Supervisor with 5+ years of construction or landscape design experience. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in high-end residential work looking to play a key role in a growing, fast-paced company.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise construction of luxury outdoor landscape projects ($400K–$2M)
Interpret and execute engineered and architectural plans
Maintain daily site presence and manage multiple job sites (2–3+ projects)
Ensure subcontractor performance and quality control; manage schedules and deadlines
Serve as a client liaison, attending meetings with the Project Executive
Communicate daily with the Project Executive, providing updates and site progress
Perform hands-on support as needed: punch lists, finishes, minor repairs
Contribute to overall design execution; design or Landscape Architecture background a plus
Oversee elements such as planting, irrigation, lighting, grading, vertical construction and pool/water feature installs
Qualifications:
5+ years in construction or landscape project management (budgets of $200K–$2M+)
Experience in site layout, grading, and luxury residential construction
Familiarity with custom pools, hardscapes, vertical/wood frame construction
Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Construction Management, or relatedfield
Proficient with plans/specs; AutoCAD or Buildertrend experience preferred
