Landscape Architecture Intern (Summer 2025)
Stantec offers a collaborative studio work environment. Our landscape architects engage staff across multiple disciplines and are presented with project opportunities at various scales and at the local, regional, national, and international level.
Through analysis, planning, and design, we create inspired landscapes that reflect context and user needs. Whether an urban park, a restored wetland, a town center, an athletic complex, a waterfront destination, or transportation facility enhancement, we make valuable contributions to the quality of life in our communities. We create opportunities from complex physical constraints and help our clients achieve their unique project goals for the design, organization, and use of space. From concept development through construction drawings and implementation, we’re the source and facilitator of creative ideas that are economically viable and environmentally responsible. To receive the best mentorship experience, we anticipate that this role will start in late June 2025 and run through August 2025. This position will require work in the office while remaining compliant with current public health guidelines. Join us for the summer!
This is a resume and skill-building experience for an entry-level Landscape Designer. You will work 5 days per week, in-person, and your responsibilities will include project research, site visits and observation reports, sketching, CAD and computer graphics production, participation in design reviews, and marketing proposal assistance – all under guidance of our Landscape Architecture team members.
