What You’ll Do
As a summer intern, you’ll be immersed in real-world design projects from day one. You’ll support our team with:
Concept development and design iteration
Drafting and documentation using AutoCAD and Rhino
3D modeling and rendering
Site analysis and research
Sketching, brainstorming, and collaborating in a creative studio environment

The Design Studio Manager will run the annual multi-university design studio–now in its fifth year—and manage academic partnerships in landscape architecture, architecture and planning; develop a fellowship program and oversee major academic programming including curriculum, speakers and final reviews. The Design Studio Manager will work in close collaboration with the Community Engagement Manager and support faculty workshops, student site visits, final exhibition and studio reports.

Design Studio Programming
Manage the annual Envision Resilience Challenge–a multi-university, interdisciplinary, place-based design studio, including partnerships with academic institutions, community stakeholders and external partners.

Establish a system for cataloging and documenting design studio processes, outcomes, research and theories to publish and present.

Work with Envision Resilience Technical and Academic Advisors to grow network of jurors, speakers and partners for all design studio programming and curriculum.

Sean Papich Landscape Architecture is a boutique landscape architecture studio located in Boston's South Shore, where everyone on the team makes an important contribution. We work on a variety of project types, but the majority of our projects are high-end residential properties, with a substantial number of coastal sites. We like to think of ourselves as a sophisticated, yet unpretentious, collection of artists/technicians who collaborate on every aspect of project development and office culture. We are a group that believes in high design, but minimal ego. We embody a unique personality that is uncommonly friendly and approachable, while also being intensely focused and discerning.
We are looking for a mid-level landscape architect/designer to join our team and to become an integral member of the studio. Team members have tremendous opportunities, as they are exposed to all aspects of project development, from site inventory, through the phases of design, and all the way through construction. We expect new team members to be proficient in AutoCAD, the Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. SketchUp or other 3D applications would be a bonus. Excellence in hand graphics would be extremely welcome. An engaging personality, a willingness to exceed expectations, a sense of humor, and a strong work ethic will set candidates apart.
