Late last month, the US Army Corps of Engineers released the Boston Coastal Storm Risk Management (CSRM) Draft Integrated Feasibility Report. See Mayor Wu's Instagram.
This is a DRAFT Report with open comment period now through September 18. This will mean billions of dollars of investment in our coastline, is closely interwoven with landscape architecture and the work of our industry, and will impact and serve as a model for the region and far beyond.
On Tuesday evening, August 11, BSLA will host a happy hour briefing and open conversation about the draft CSRM report, especially as relates to landscape architecture.
Join us to learn more about the draft report, discuss it as a professional community, and begin formulating questions and brainstorming discussion points for response letters.
All are welcome. RSVP requested for planning purposes. Hosted by Stantec at their downtown office, 40 Water Street, 3rd Floor, Boston.
